Oh, man, that is a tough situation. I hope everyone made it out okay. Safety, safety, safety! Especially in the context of an organized drive. I found out quickly, and fortunately without much consequence, that our cars can be especially dangerous when driven improperly.

I figured there would be some history here. I'm down to meet up and discuss. It will have to be a few weeks out. 5/30/2015 is back to real life for me. Lots of things going on up through that date.

 

I have my 3fx meet which was originally designed as an s2000 meet. It's still goes on but it's all across the board imports euro domestics, etc

 

You are the only s2000 that shows up to those meets- and you only show up to every 3rd one

 

Hence the discouragement.

 

That meet was never to be an s2000 meet. I tried to convince you to do a s2000 meet there first and you didn't. That meet was to promote the local business and get as many cars as possible to buy some ice cream. Which is a good thing for them.
But I recommend anyone to go there when he organizes it. It's great ice cream.

Wow so I was subscribed to this but I never got notifications so I assumed no one had responded... finally checked again and so many responses! Sorry for being so late.

I know I'm kind of a weird one in all of this, but I wouldn't mind organizing and setting up some more stuff. I really enjoy putting things together and scheduling and planning, so we can get the ball rolling on all of these ideas if you all are interested and don't mind me coordinating it.

I can create a doodle for the dinner and maybe a doodle for the cruise so we can figure out when everyone is available and when would work best. I Want to make sure everyone has the chance to come out and enjoy the events!

And how often would you guys want to do the dinner and cruise? I can set up a survey and poll for stuff too if that's easier. Let me know what you guys think. I have to schedule my entire week right now so scheduling events like this would be very helpful to me in many ways.

I actually used to be a graphic designer/web master/photographer as my first job... I think I can use those skills to help the group out, lol. Also Chris apparently is a web designer for his current job so I am sure he'd be able to help out if we wanted to make an official site. I'd be willing to contribute artistic graphic designy stuff and photographs.

Speaking of photographs, I will have my camera with me for cars and coffee tomorrow!

 

Someone could make a site but I don't really see the purpose. There are 10 other Car meet sites in jax already.
