Default The Firm race track

Anybody interested in going to the Firm tomorrow? Only $50 to race your car. They will have both tracks open. One for the rally style cars and one for our S2000

Requirement:
*HARDTOP or ROLL BARS
*CLOSE FACE HELMET

But if you are not up for R acing and have some free time. Why not stop by to watch. They will have the STI and many cool cars out there having fun.

If I had a closed face helmet I would be tempted to do this over the autocross.

There's got to be someone's helmet you can borrow!

I said tempted. I hate borrowing helmets, the firm is really far from me, and I get off work late. But the biggest reason it is a tempted, I run a higher percentage of breaking something- which is a no-no this close to the dragon.

i put a rollbar in my car so I could go. They won't let you run without a roll bar even if you have a hard top. That's why the group of us stopped going. I do plan on doing this again after the dragon. You must have a aftermarket roll bar because of their new insurance regulations

Not quite true. They must of changed the rules. I attended the last open track day in the 7th, and no problem. All I had was a hardtop. If you don't believe me you can always call the FIRM, and they will tell you.

Now today [attachment=75750::] Good turn out!

They had a management change about a year ago. They relaxed a lot of their rules. I think they dropped the experience clause too. They had it set up to where you could only run if you had proof of running on a track before, otherwise you had to attend their driving class. The class was close to a grand with only an hour or so of track time.
