Justin Going Away Meet
OK...here's the plan:
We meet at the Shell on Atlantic and 9a at 9:15am. We need to leave promptly at 9:30am. Anyone late use the map to find the restaurant and take the interstate and you will probably beat us there.
Destination is Ms. Carolyn's Breakfast in Fernandina Beach. Breakfast at 10:30am till they kick us out. Then we make the run south on A1A. Take the Mayport Ferry across and continue the run to St. Auggie. Park at the new garage and then bum around St. Auggie. Visit the Old Fort...walk down St George's St. Then to Creekside for an early dinner.
Schedule:
9:15am Shell on Atlantic (MAP)
9:30am depart drive to Fernandina (ROUTE)
10:30am Ms Carolyn's Breakfast (MAP)
12:00pm depart drive to St Auggie
2:30pm arrive St Auggie Parking Garage (MAP)
5:00pm depart Parking Garage for Creekside
5:15pm Creekside Dinery (MAP)
Let me get a list of who is joining us and where. Also let me know if you have a GPS.

^^ Other than eating and driving...I'm open for suggestions. We can try to rent some scooters in St. Auggie and terrorize tourists. We can tour the fort for some photo ops. There are plenty of bars...we can get a score sheet together and see who makes the best mojitos.

Creekside is the place with the marshmellow roasting pit correct?
I am down for whatever, just hanging out or anything people want to do.
What time are we thinking to start, I would be hoping more for a brunch then early enough for breakfast.......

I'm cool with Sunday...but I also like to be respectful of the more pious members. James...what say you for a Sunday event?
And it will be brunch...ain't no way I can get up early enough to drive to Fernadina for an 8am breakfast. I'm thinking a start of about 9:30 to get to the restaurant by 10:30am or 11am.
Yes, Creekside has a fire pit...but I really doubt it will be lit (or that we will want it to be lit) on an August early evening.
Mojito (prounounced mo-HE-tow): A drink traditionally made of five ingredients: white rum, sugar (traditionally sugar cane juice), lime, carbonated water and mint. Its combination of sweetness and refreshing citrus and mint flavors are intended to mask the potent kick of the rum, and have made this clear highball a popular summer drink.
