I could definitely use a valve adjustment if we do a mod day.

Valve Adjustment. I am fairly certain that negcamber has the special tool as well.

I have the adjustment tool...but not the expertise...but it is supposed to be pretty easy.

I'll warn that the IMG can take several hrs by itself, so there may not be time for both valve adj and IMG. Prioritize what you want to do first and if there is time, we can do the other. Unfortunately, I only have one adj tool...so only 1 car at a time can have their valves adjusted.

The only request for anyone wanting to do the thermostat at the same time, ie draining coolant, is that you bring your own drain bucket and containers for you to take the old coolant with you to dispose of legally.

Josh...what's your schedule? When is your first weekend you aren't on duty once you return from vacation?

i wouldn't necessarily call it a vacation. i like to refer to it as work forcing me to go drink (which they pay for) on the beach in the bahamas and occasionally do some work. i really don't know what my schedule is going to be like, i will be busy the two weekends following my return but after that i am free. valve adjustments don't take to long, about thirty minutes, and we could do them the same time as the gasket.

It's a big deal to me that the adjustment is done right, and I only put about 10k miles a year on my car, so the adjustment should last for about 4 years, so I can take my car to Stage 6 or the dealership for that.

From talking to Josh, it sounded like it's a pretty good idea to drain the coolant system anyway when you're doing the IMG install. I can drain the coolant myself, I'll bring my own containers ... how much coolant does the system hold (so I know how big of a container to bring)?

I also have a good jack and two good jackstands, and a basic tool kit, so that should pretty much take care of everything needed except for the specialty tools. That and Josh's expertise. And the beer.

Are you saying that you are going to pay Stage 6 to do a valve adjustment but not the IMG?
