I will start:
Always been a big fan of the Acura NSX. After a long anticipation for this upcoming model, I saw the press release this afternoon. Well the truth is... I was not moved, nothing came out and hit me.
Yes, its a modern exotic and a beautiful car. I especially love the interior, the exterior is okay ->just like any other exotics in its class. We will have to just wait and see what happens.

For now, I'm going for the 2017 Ford GT Ford really surprised me on this one! The look of the car is stunning, and breathtaking! I love it, and it's interior ->having a modern touch of the S2000 style gauge to it is awesome! The exterior design of the car really brings the car to the new era of modern exotics combining the old and the new.

Good effort to Acura for bringing back the NSX.

If they can keep the price low on the ford with no batteries it looks like a sweet ride.
I still think Acura should make a baby nsx without all the hybrid crap.

The NSX: Because of the history and heritage around it and the Honda brand; the allure of reviving the passion, Japanese ingenuity, and how they set a new benchmark 25 years ago. The new design looks good, but not as groundbreaking as 25 years ago. Maybe that is not a reasonable expectation. Car companies around Honda have evolved a lot since then---the first gen NSX was a wakeup call for car companies, and caused them to respond and, in the end, it was good for the consumer. It is disappointing that the new NSX is not assembled in Japan as the original, and the s2000 etc. With the original NSX, one article said that Honda picked a special handpicked group of Japanese engineers/workers with at least 20 years experience to assemble the car. I was having a conversation with someone about the new NSX launch yesterday. We concluded that it represents the New World of cars. The times of genius simplicity, the manual gear box, and the whole analog experience has been replaced with electric motors, hyper technology, and the objective is going around the track faster and faster. I believe cars like the first gen NSX and s2000 provide a different driving experience that will stay in the history books. There will always be a market for these cars, kept alive by people who want that analog and simplicity of driving. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tDwvYsNUmA Going back to the practical side of things, I anticipate the NSX will be a better driver's car, more engaging, and reliable than the Ford GT. As Chris Harris said in his comparison review on Ferrari 458 Speciale vs. the 991 GT3--" I will take one of the each, please." It creates this smile:

I'd pick the GT over the NSX. I feel Ford is still listening and making what enthusiast want. I agree with Centurion about the NSX being a wake up call but it also made Honda lazy. They raised the bar but then nothing afterwards. The NSX continued with very minor changed to keep up with the competition they created. Companies produced better products cause they didn't want to be beat by a "Honda". But much like Toyota, I feel Honda has abandoned the sports car enthusiast. We have the Civic Si that continues to get more "Meh" since it its predecessors every year. Look at Ford, they have something for EVERYONE, Fiesta, Focus, numerous Mustang models from turbo 4cyl to V8, Raptor and now the GT. Besides Nissan, the Japanese car makers need to wake up. GM, Ford and Chrysler are coming back hard. New C7, CTS-V, ATS-V, Z28, Hellcat's, SRT8's. Japan has no contender for any of them besides the GTR and 370z.

Ooh Honda. Take that nsx rip all the electric motors , batteries , fancy quiet mode. And stick that new sexy twin turbo motor in it. Then slap a 7 speed manual on that bitch. Then drop the price 70k. Will sell like hot rice cakes.

Senna didn't have torque vectoring.

I will have to go with the Ford GT here. Ford is still listening to drivers.

I'm sure the GT will be the more emotional car to own (not just to drive but also to deal with the frustration/anger of frequent breakdowns as the last GT liked to do) and it looks MUCH better to me, but I'd pick the NSX out of the two because I don't have patience for unreliable cars and Acura/Honda has a much better track record than Ford in that regard.

Ford GT like the Acura NSX, it too has a long history and heritage in racing. The Ford GT40 was a high performance sports car and winner of the 24 hours of Le Mans four times in a row, from 1966 to 1969. It is so far the only car, built by an American company, to win overall at this prestigious event. It was built to win long-distance sports car races against Ferrari.

I see reliability right there, lol and whoopn up on Ferrari, WHAAAAT!

The Ford Gt. After waiting 10 years for the nex Nsx I think it's a disappointment. The original was a car ahead of its time and made other car companies build better cars for less money. This new Nsx has nothing special about it to see it apart from anything else in the same price range and it looks like a R8
