new s2k owner in jax
Yo whats up everyone ?
I just picked up a 03 gpw s2k here in jacksonville, 65k miles.
I want to change out the radio immediately because the factory radio isnt working for me.
Also I want to lower the car on fortune auto 500 coilovers and put wheels on it 17 or 18's
not sure yet. but anyway, I was wondering if anyone around town could let me listen to there radio set up sometime
or let me take a ride in there car to check out how there suspension feels, anything will help. its hard to
decide what i want to do because all ive ever owned is Integras and civics so im not very experienced with s2000s.
let me know whats up, im off san jose and sunbeam rd.

Yep the radio and speakers do suck. I replaced my head unit years ago. Also have newer infinity component speakers and a small sub in the trunk. You can come by any time to hear. I'll. Give you a spin too. I have a modified suspension. Most folk on here do.

Hi & welcome! Congrats on the AP1. Post up some pictures to document the transformation
I'm lowered on Swift Spec R springs and OEM dampers. The drop is pretty good, and as long as the oem dampers hold on, the ride and performance aren't adversely affected.

Welcome to the club! I'm running Megan Swift Series coilovers w/ 17x9 +62F +48R, 255/40 RS-3's(they absolutely suck in the rain) and an Eibach swaybar. Like others said, there are plenty of helpful people in town.
