Hello There: It may be a chaincase leak (where head meets the block). Check out this thread, where someone posted pics and the quote below from Billman:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-cr...gasket-898799/
Since you are buying the Billman TCT, maybe you can try to shoot him a picture to help confirm the issue.

From a Billman250's post

"Your leak is a result of the SEALER (not the head gasket) not having sealed the chain case area. note the grey bead of sealer in ther pic.
So, even if you did a new head gasket, if someone is not spot on with the bead of sealer, it wont help. It may even get worse.
You have a 1/4 of a teaspoon of oil there. heat pulls the oil flat, and makes the leak look bigger than it is....
40% of s2ks look like this, so take this best advice you will ever get: leave it alone It is in no way harming anything, it has no affect on pressure, you are not mixing coolant with oil."

Yeah it’s been awhile. my plan was to organize a nice lunch meet soon. However I had an accident and need a little time to heal up. Also this latest variant has some folks hesitant.
I’ll plan something soon for sure. Would be nice to see you guys.

in the meantime anybody on here can plan a meet.
please post up.

This is not exactly my first intro as this is my second S2K, but it is with this one.

Tell us about your S2000? What color is it?
I have an '07 GPW.
Why did you buy an S2000? I fell in love with the car after my teacher's husband let me ride passenger in one of his autocross run. After that I HAD to have one. Right before I enlisted I bought my first S2K; an '02 GPW with the all-red interior. Fun fact: I bought it from the owner of Pride Exhaust. I kept the '02 through some of my PCS moves, but eventually I sold it as it was getting too cumbersome. Fast forward a couple of years, I found a bone-stock '07 GPW for sale from a fellow member here in S2Ki and I bought it.
What are you looking to do with your S2000?
I'd be going for a street/track build, hopefully participate in track meets more frequently.
Are you keeping it stock or modifying it? As previously mentioned, I will be modifying the S to fulfill the street/track build. Since my acquisition, I have installed the SOS S/C, JDP rear/side diffuser, TE37s and some other subtle mods here and there. I also have a couple of parts that are going onto the S2K that I kept from my first S2K like an OEM hardtop and a roll bar. My only limitation is to not hack up the fenders, except for rolling.
What's next after the S2000: Been there, done that and look where I ended back on. With the direction the automobile industry is taking we will never see cars like the S2000 again. This is a car that I do not see myself parting with ever again. I learned my lesson the first time.
Anything else you want to share? When I was in the market to buy this S2K, I was surprised to see how much the value of these cars went up and how much emphasis was being placed on "x/10 vins" as if it magically increased the value of the car. It may have mattered to a lot of people, but not to me. Makes me wonder if people actually drive these anymore. Honestly, CenturionS2K said it all. I bought mine specifically with low miles and stock because its a car I want to build and last me a long time. I want to ENJOY driving it, building it, etc all while being a RESPONSIBLE owner.

Here's mine as it sits now!
