Ok ladies and gents, can someone please explain the offsets to me? Whats the difference between them, or any info would be great. Im looking for rims now, and i dont wanna get a set and they stick out, or i have to roll my fenders or anything. So any help will be well appreciated please. These are what im looking at right now.

Model: Work VS-XX 17x8+18, 9+22

And could i use my tires i have on the car now, or would i have to get another set? I dont want the rims stickin out of the tire either. LOL!!

This offset stuff is killin me.

Safe offset would be 17x7.5 +48 F 17x9 +63 R
Semi aggressive would be 17x8 +45 F 17x9 +45 R
Aggressive would be 17x8 +36 F 17x9 +37 R or anything lower. The smaller the + number the more aggressive.

Anything lower than +48 will probably need a roll if lowered. Those VSXX are +22. That will take serious modification to fit. Your not going to find a really nice wheel with a lip or concave for the s2k unless you roll and flare. Lol

And yes. You can use your stock tires.

I have 17x8 and 17x9 both +45s. I had to roll my rear fenders when I lowered my car more. The front fenders will probably need to be rolled because my stock fender got cheesed pulling in a driveway. I ended up buying a 10mm wider fender and still messed that up. I'm running -2.5 front and -2.75 rear camber. My car was slightly lower up front than the rear but since I've evened out my car I don't seem to have a problem anymore.

That will fit. But 8 rear is a little weak. Try to find 8.5 at least.

That's a 9" rear man. I don't think that's fitting w/o a roll, pull, stretch, and lots of neg camber. Even then I dunno.
