Default S2000 Clutch Master Cylinder

Need on ASAP. Seems that the puddle I went through (I should say lake) messed up my master cylinder. Theory is that when I clutched in, it sucked up some water somewhere and when I clutched out, it could of pulled it in and having no where to go, blew the seals on the cylinder.

My clutch pedal has 75% travel and 25% clutch. But it alternates also to working perfectly fine or 50% travel and 50% clutch.

No one seems to carry one in town!

Have the dealer order it. I normally wouldn't recommend the dealer but I had them replace my master and slave. If I'm not mistaking, the master cylinder isn't that expensive.

how is the fluid level? you should try bleeding the clutch system before buying anything. it only takes about 20-30 minutes and costs about 7 dollars for a bottle of honda brake fluid.

you can't just refill it if it is empty- you have to bleed the air out. you might have a hole in the clutch line, a messed up master cylinder or slave cylinder. I would try and narrow the problem down before you start ordering parts (it will save you a little money). have you noticed any leaking? the master cylinder will leak along the firewall or into the cabin of the car where the clutch pedal bolts to the piston on the master cylinder. .

Yeah if it is leaking into the car the master cylinder is bad. It happens when you stall out to much lol

Yeah but I havent stalled but maybe 5 times since I've gotten this car. And the last time being the euro street meet at San Marco.

I've stalled twice since the cylinder went out tho. Just because there is no clutch. Lol

You can also see if any local store has a rebuild kit. They are normally less than 20 bucks, and easy to install. I used to rebuild them for integras, 240sx and once a 3000gt. If you or Derek need help, just call me.
