Default Soft Top Replacement

Hello everyone! I was just wondering if anyone in the area is experienced with soft top replacements? Miami hasn't responded and Dspec isn't available really and I wouldn't want to pressure him into doing it. Anyone else done a replacement? I'll love you...

Sargent Upholstery recently installed my Robbins top (and rebuilt my seat side bolsters) and it's flawless. They knew the car inside and out.

Did they reinforce the side bolsters? How does the cushion feel density wise compared to oem?

Yes, because I asked them to, but I forget what they used along the outer, bottom edge for reinforcement. The foam density feels about the same. The bolsters don't quite come to as sharp of an edge (the top, along the seam) as brand new S2000 seats, but they're pretty close. It was a night and day difference, as my bolsters were pretty smashed from the previous owner.

Sargent quoted 1400 for soft top install. This seems like a very steep price.

D-clem (Dustin Clement) or D-Spec (Derek Wheeler)

Both are good.

I don't think they are doing tops anymore. Most places around here if you don't have the top are charging about 900 for install. Grays has the cheapest for 500.

Sargents may be high but I hear nothing but good things about them. I would offer to do it but I've never done one and don't want yours to be the experiment.

Also, if you go to LHT, they only install OEM tops. They won't use Ribbons or Ez-on
