Here's a map I made of some of the drives I have planned for the days.
Wednesday will change depending on what time I arrive. Might do the Hub for dinner.
Friday I am going to do the newbie Dragon run with the group then head out to the drive I made.
Saturday I am doing a group drive to Bald River Falls and some other places.
Sunday I will head back.

Any suggestions are welcome!

You will like our Saturday drive. Once we get to Tellico, there wont be duplication of your other ambitious drives. We will also drop into the Olympic kayak site which I have never seen when the "water" is running. This time it should be active. I will stay on the walkway. LOL

 

Awesome! I am excited. I've only ever been to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area/All through Cades Cove, so I am excited to explore some of these other areas. I haven't seen any waterfalls since I left Ithaca.

 

Flew out to DC last weekend to pickup new car, and dude bailed...went out there and everything. Instantly refunded my deposit though so that is good... Have fun Lindsey and be safe. Take a lot of pictures

 

What do you mean the dude bailed ?

 

I went to his bank to buy the car. Guy calls me and apologizes that he changed his mind to sell....and that he was too embarrassed to meet in person. I was actually livid.


On a brighter note, I got to make a weekend of it. Adams Morgan, Georgetown, Dupont Circle, and even the most American thing you can do on Memorial Day: Memorial Day Parade at Washington Monument.. plus I got to drive around my cousin's 1000 hp HKS twin Turbo R35 Skyline all weekend which was pretty cool.
