What do you mean the dude bailed ?
I went to his bank to buy the car. Guy calls me and apologizes that he changed his mind to sell....and that he was too embarrassed to meet in person. I was actually livid.

On a brighter note, I got to make a weekend of it. Adams Morgan, Georgetown, Dupont Circle, and even the most American thing you can do on Memorial Day: Memorial Day Parade at Washington Monument.. plus I got to drive around my cousin's 1000 hp HKS twin Turbo R35 Skyline all weekend which was pretty cool.
Nice you made a vaca out of it but this guy owes you money. Is he on s2ki ? How did you organize the sale? You agreed on price and he took your deposit? How old is he? This is not how transactions work.

I gave him deposit and agreed to meet at his bank since he had a lien on it. He is not on s2ki to my knowledge, found him on fb. I had a bad feeling about it the whole time, so I'm actually glad it didn't go down. Everything happens for a reason, and usually buying/selling cars should be smooth sailing. Any time there is discrepancy, it usually is a pretty good indicator for a red flag.

Thanks for your concern Jim

Here's a map I made of some of the drives I have planned for the days.
Wednesday will change depending on what time I arrive. Might do the Hub for dinner.
Friday I am going to do the newbie Dragon run with the group then head out to the drive I made.
Saturday I am doing a group drive to Bald River Falls and some other places.
Sunday I will head back.

Any suggestions are welcome!
Jason should be there (FuRy) ABP CR. super stock lol

Tell him I said whats up..

I'm not really concerned. Just confused.
if you agreed on a price and send him money then that's it. it's a contract. that's how it works.
" I had a bad feeling about it the whole time, " Why?

The GT-R isn't a Skyline.

He was sketchy on answering questions about vehicle, vehicle history, work done, and previous owners. He would always have to get back to me about it. Car had a respray, had all original body panels, but something didn't feel right. He was convincing, but when it boiled down to it I'm actually happy I did not buy it.
