Default 17x9 +54 Volk CE28's : Clear Stoptech BBK?

I know that the 17x9 +54 Volk RE30s clear the Stoptechs without spacers. What about the 17x9 +54 CE28s? A buddy was asking me and I wasn't sure.

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that the RE30s clear the Spoon and Stoptech without spacer. Windchaser had them on his Stoptechs and said that they cleared. Doesn't matter how close they are, as long as they clear.

My question is if the CEs clear them as well.

The 9 +40 clears for sure...it clears every BBK from my understanding. The 9 +54 RE30s clear the Stoptech and Spoons, but not the J's/Endless without a spacer. I just don't know if the 9+54 CEs clear the Stoptechs without.

This doesn't answer your question directly but may help:

My friend had 17x9 +54 ce28 and had to use a 5mm spacer to fit over the Brembo GT BBK. To my understanding, the stoptech is bigger in almost every dimension (don't quote me on this though!).

Call A&J racing.

Im pretty sure they said somewhere on here that the ce28's and re30's have the same clearance. I think they tested this when the re30's originally came out since majority of their cars had ce28's and they changed over to the re30's.
