I got the reflash done!!! You can really feel the difference, the car pulls so much harder though VTEC. You can really feel it from 4500-6500. VTEC is now around 4500 rpms. They say with the headers and reflash VTEC is at 4200 but I think its more like 4500!!!! I got the reflash, headers, and intake done only after having the car for a couple of days. I think if I had waited a little longer and got more of a feel for the car, that I could give yall a better review!!!
Did you get the header and reflash at the same time or different times?

"For this reflash we implement a VTEC window. Under 4200 rpm you will always be on the low cam. Over 6000 rpm you will always be on the high cam. Between 4200 rpm and 6000 rpm you are on the low cam at cruise and light throttle switching instantly to the high cam at wide open throttle."

so the gearing wouldnt be a big issue would it? your not at 6k at 75 nor are you at wot

I have some questions if you don't mind.

1. how are drivability situations... say crusing with 20-30% thorttle slowly getting up to the RPM range?

2. The transition of the Vtec kick if your say 20% throttle holding @ 4500 (4th-5th gear) and you modulate gradually to 40-50% throttle will the vtec kick in instantly or is it like stock. @ 5600 the Vtec is on but your able to modulate it smoothly?

3. Normal driving issues getting on freeway ramps is it more effective than the previous setup?

4. Do you feel like with a lower vtec point your pushing your motor in situations that you had no intentions of doing? Does it catch you off guard at some points?

Thanks for you in advance

Hey LagunaS2K,

to answer your questions:

1. Drivability is about the same as stock.

2. VTEC transition is still very smooth, much like stock.

3. Getting on freeway is so much more fun and easier, I love the lower VTEC point!!!!

4. It only caught me off guard the first time after it was done. But now im pretty use to it.
