Default ALEX DUCT

Hey guys... I just got an Alex duct molded into my front bumper to aid the AUT snorkel/plate.

It's in the right spot where everyone else has it... But the duct now feeds air RIGHT into the bumper support bar!!!!
Anybod yelse have this problem? options? any help will be appreciated. thanks.

ya, you have to remove the bumper support bar or grind/cut a spot for the air duct.

Yikes, bad day...
The duct is TOTALLY blocked by that bar... I don't see grinding a spot out very feasible. I don't feel safe removing it, but the vent is in the bumper already. DOH!

I am now drilling holes along the border. Seems so tedious.

Did you put it about where the intake is on the J's Type-S bumper? I was scoping out where that'd be the other day, and it looked like it would be perfect with a small guide to the intake. I don't think I've seen the Alex duct on the stock bumper, so I can't picture where it's feeding air to.

Dave, can you show us some pics, I didn't get the ALEX duct cuz I figure it's hard to mount it at the "right" spot to go with the Mugen intake. Thanks
