The Amuse is a horrible header, so the J's will be much better. Most people report good result with the J's.

Why do you say you need "low-end" power in particular?

You want the Mugen 2.2L if you want mid-range, which is what I assume you mean by low-end. The Toda is pretty decent in that range too.

You need to back this statement up with more info.

The Amuse header is one of the top designed headers for the s2000. Its the lightest header, and it does make power, although most of the power is top end.

The j's header is a good choice because of its large collector, so it makes more power over the amuse.

Header is all personal choice. Ive owned my Amuse for 3 years now, and I will vote for it any day.

The Amuse is a very nice looking header and is very light (even though only 2 pounds lighter than most aftermarket headers) but it hasn't been shown to make substantial power.

You can pull dyno after dyno on the toda, j's and tracy sports but I have never seen one for the amuse that shows much of any increase in power.

In this respect the Amuse is similar to the ASM.

For the price of the two exhausts listed by the OP, why not get gears and actually feel your money at work?
