your friend has the amuse suspension, you sat in it and said it felt awesome. Your friend though recommends you towards buddy club or T1R?

so is he not satisfied with his setup and think buddy club or T1R would be better? Doesn't that make the Amuse setup kind of crappy because AFAIK buddy club and T1R are not high-end setups.

Please elaborate on the amuse suspension if you can, I've always wondered how good it was.

Ben had it on his S2000 when it was built up...

He says they were great but the downside was them not being adjustable....but it's kind of a weird advantage because you know the way they're already setup is perfect.

What I'm getting on my SC300 and what Ben is using on our 3 demo vehicles are these mofos:

Top Secret Super Dampers.....revalved aragosta dampers with swift springs....the best of the best and they can be ordered with custom spring rates for your car. Besides being the highest quality, they're insanely lightweight. Swift uses some sort of cold wound system that makes the springs stronger so they use less coils and perform better that hot wound springs. (less coils also means less weight)

The car felt like it was on rails...Body roll was totally gone.....The ass end wasn`t twicty it was firmly planted around every turn....I mean the ride quality wasn`t that great...It was really stiff...But IMHO that how the car should have came...If you want a soft ride...Buy an Accord anyway back to the S2000....It was even more stable at high speeds...I really don`t have another suspension setup to compare it to other than stock because he has the first s2000 I ever road in with suspension....He said T1R and buddy club are the same thing for half the cost....But he said for a couple hundred more I can get the Tien witch will be top notch.....

I don`t know alot about suspension....Niether does he...He just bought it cause he saw the Touge video...Some back ground info on him......Mom and Dad pay for everything...Its not a bad thing...But thats how it is for him....He had like 3 different exhausts...2 body kits...Well the first one was an 04 front end and 04 tails....He just buys things that people say are good and because he has the money to do it...I am actually trying to learn before I buy .....

I don`t really think he is not happy with the Amuse but I think he wants me to buy the T1r so he can compare and say his Suspension is better or drive a car with the T1r so he knows if he made the right choice or not...I personaly think he doesn`t want me to buy the same setup...But I want to buy the best....

I haven't driven a car with the T1R's so I won't comment on those.....but although they are cheaper, the buddy club and the Teins don't even come close to the perfromance of the amuse or top secret coilovers.

so your "friend" wants you to spend over 1k$ so he can try out the suspension... when he knows amuse is good?

how about you tell him to buy the buddy clubs or the t1r, and you can buy his old amuse setup...

i almost order the amuse suspension. the reason i haven't order it cuz it's going to cost me 3150 to get it shipped to my house. that is expensive. yet, since i can get buddy club for cheap so i got the race spec for about a 1000.

this is the way i think of it. why don't i try something cheap first to see how the cheaper suspension feel. later on i'll buy the amuse one and at that time i'll know what the differences between these suspensions.

likes tires.. i've tried many tires. so far i have 22000 miles on my car and i used up 5 sets of tires already. s02, kumho mx, ps2, new azenis, s03.... now i know how they feel on this car.
