Damn I really didn`t think Amuse would out do Tein
Tein is great for adjustable, soft, street suspension...and that's the cheaper stuff you're thinking of.

Tein also has some really good race/rally setups as well but they're similar in price to the amuse or top secret coilovers. You just need to compare apples to apples, not apples to applejuice.

The Amuse-spec Bilsteins are just one of the reasons the Amuse car handles the way it does.

I'm getting sick of these threads.

Okay, let's start from the beginning. What size and compound tires are you using? If you're running R Compound rubber or super wide tires, you'll need a pretty stiff suspension to make up for all the added grip.
Okay, if you're planning to drive the car on the street than you could go with something a little softer.
Okay, If you're driving the car on the street during the week, going to the track on the weekends then something with a lot of adjustability might be nice.
Okay, if you know anything about suspensions (doubtful) you might want something 2-3 way adjustable to dial in your street and track setups.
Okay, what's your budget? If you're considering the Amuse kit, what do you know about it besides, my friend says they are nice? What spring rates can you get that will match the way you are using the car? Are they twin tube or mono tube? Can they be revalved in the U.S.? What's the limit of their adjustability? Have I ever seen a shock dyno from them? Are there better kits out there that I'm not even considering because I didn't do any research or the other kits are made in Japan so they aren't cool? You'd be suprised how many idiots buy the JDM name brand suspension kit where the pieces of the kit aren't even made in Japan, but from a different company like Ohlins or Bilstein or Sachs, and paid an extra $500+ for the Amuse name on them and then say they are the JDM masters.

Bottom line, if you're really considering plopping down $3000 on suspension, you should really do some research and you might find that Moton Club Sports or JRZ 2 ways or KW V. 3 or Showa or Sachs or Ohlines suspensions could cost you less money and out perform your single task focused (Touge) Amuse suspension.

I remember a time when purchasing JDM stuff for an import was to improve it's performance because U.S. companies that were worth a damn didn't manufacture parts for "Rice Burners". Those days are over and better products can be had from other places than Japan.

There is a Tein 2 way adjustable with EDFC however. I think it's called SRC or soemthing and its 32 x 32.
Kel, just wanted to correct something here. It's 16 rebound adjustments and 16 compression adjustments for the SRC.

Did anybody get the SRC on this web forum? I was told there were some sets available in stock with Tein USA when it first came out (i would say around 5 sets...) but now it's all sold. I wonder who bought these and how they like them.

^ You want advice, yet when advice is given you treat it like granny's old underwear!

I suggest you man up and do some research. Highrpmek made a few really good points.

I am doing research...Why do you think I was asking members about it....I don`t feel like getting some idiot trying to play me like a fool for asking a question on something I know nothing about...Thats why I am asking to learn.....Now I am really interested in this suspension setup and before I start Spending 3K I would like to know more about this setup VS Other brands.....By the questions I am asking it is noticable that I don`t know alot about this subject...Maybe I don`t want to or have the time to look into all the tecnical specs....Either way there is no need to come off the way he did...Whenever I answer a post on any topic I never use that tone to someone who doesn`t have as much knowledge on the subject as myself......

I have seen people ask questions like will a boost controller allow me to run more boost on my CTSC.....Eventhough its an ovbious answer I try to explain it as best I can....I give a reason why it wouldn`t/ I don`t say do some search....Even if there is 10 post on the subject...I know personaly when I use the Search feature on the fourm if I don`t see what I am looking for in the first 5 pages I post up...I am not looking threw 200+ thats might be up to 5 years old.....Anway this thread has gotten way off topic between myself and HighRPMek Will a monitor please close this before it get anymore out of hand.... Thanks to all that replied and tried thier best to point me in the right direction....But I think I will have to continue my research some other time....John
