AP1 vs AP2 Brakes

I know the pads changed from AP1 to AP2 but are the calipers dimensionally the same?

same thing. ap1 pads fit ap2 and ap2 pads fit ap1. the ap1 pads are less dusty. calipers and rotors are the same.

all they changed was the pad compound
