ARC cooling panel
I tried to fit my ARC cooling panel last night. There are 2 tab points comming out of the car that prevents the cooling panel front seating correctly on the car. What are other people doing to solve this issue? I'm considering drilling holes, but I want to avoid that.
After examing my plate and your picture, I can't seem to figure out what those tabs are. There are 2 openings in the plate that allows for access to some holes, but nothing for your tabs. I don't recall seeing any tabs on mine. If other people can't figure out what the problem is, I'll take my plate off t0m0 to see if there's anything there.
The only problem I had was the OEM screws weren't long enough to hook onto the hole, so I got longer screws from Ace.

I had the air guide still on there when I mounted mine and those tabs didn't really block the cooling plate at all. The plate is not going to sit perfectly flush. I did have to adjust the hood latch a little to avoid them making contact.
I also have removed the Air Guide and I believe those tabs are still there.
I think they are similiar to zip ties on the other end to hold wiring away from the readiator. I would not drill them out until you find out exactly why they are there. I doubt they are there just for looks

I don't think they are for the air guide. I think they are the back end clips of a wire loom that runs under that strip of metal. I took a set of pliers and pressed and pushed the plastic nipple down so they are flush. My rad plate fits perfect now.
