Default ASM 60mm VS ASM 70mm...

I know there aren't many owners of these exhaust systems on here, but I wondered what the hard core N/A heads thought with regards to wether you think there would a noticeable difference in performance between the two systems made by ASM?

Any insight or thoughts are all greatly appreciated.

My plans are to mate either one of these exhausts to a Tracy Sports header, and aftermarket TP.

Isn't the 70 the only model offered in titanium? If that's true, then there's weight performance going with the 70.

Also, fenixv8, your MR2 is nasty!

I'm saying, they don't make the 60 in titanium, so the 70 would be lighter.

True.....IDK if there would be that much of a hp change going from 60 to 70.

60mm is made in SS and the 70mm is made in both Ti and SS. Im more concerned about HP/performance, would there be a significant diff?

There will be a difference but not a large one. They are both resonated so you would see a larger difference going from the ASM 60mm to say an Amuse 70mm non-resonated, but the diff from the two ASM units would probably be a minimal gain IDK maybe a few HP.

I have the 70mm and love it. I have never heard another 70mm this quiet, but being that it has a resonator it is probably not adding as much HP as non-resonated 70mm's

makes sense, thanks for your insight. Nice to see someone running the 70mm, sounds like you like it! I may just go with the 60mm for now, no used 70mm around to scoop up.

I hear that.

Thats a nice exhaust, but its almost too quiet (60mm). If possible I would hold out and either buy a new 70mm or wait for a used one to show itself . A friend has been trying to sell his 60mm for a little while and its not moving as quickly as I thought it would, he is looking to move up to the 70mm also.
