Default ASM Cooling Plate

I bought an ASM cooling plate and tried to fit it today with a Mugen Intake and a J's Racing Type V Hood. It didn't fit at all, and I am thinking its possibly the hood not the plate because I can raise the hood latch until it works but then the hood sits really high. Anyone had any experience or know about this?

Thanks

It is the hood and not actually the cooling plate I had the same problem with my J's hood. The latch plate on the hood protrudes where the bolts hit the cooling plate. I changed the bolts in the hood to a lower profile bolt head. It did not solve it due to the fact it still marred the plate.

Just found out the same thing, unless you cut the hood.

My J's racing type v hood was also in the way of my radiator shroud so I just adjusted the hood latch from the three 10mm bolts. Took me like 10times till I got it the way I wanted it.

I ran the ASM Cooling Plate for the Gruppe M intake + J's Type V hood. I needed to raise the latch & cut a small section of the opening of the hood latch area on the ASM plate to allow for proper clearance.

I'd prefer to see the scratches then cut a notch off and see a hole.
