Safety Issue--> If you are in a rollover accident, the stock seat belt allows you to move and crouch. Now if you run harnesses without after market roll bar protection, in a roll over situation, you wont be able to crouch and your head will now be part of the road.

--Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Exactly right, harnesses with out roll over protection are a big no-no. I think most tracks won't let you run if that's your set up. It's almost as dumb as when people run full Cusco cages without wearing a helmet.

so when u roll over u want to roll into a ball ???

its not safe because it mounts the harness too low for them to be effective at that angle to hold you safe and snug in your seat.
