You could always drop the seats off at a Yamato transport or other delivery service and have them deliver it to the airport for you to pick up when you leave. Depending on the size of the box, it might only be $20 or so. I think for Takkyubin you can only ship up to 160cm (L+W+H) max.

I considered doing this exact same thing when I was in Yokohama: fly back with an ASM ruby strapped to my body so I'm double seated on the airplane

Does anyone know if a copy of the ASM 70mm titanium was ever made? Maybe by some obscure Japanese company?

I'm looking at one that may be ASM and just wanted to check. Thanks.
