haha, thanks guys but I dunno... from that angle, something just seems kinda off the side looks a bit bare.. I should probably pick up some side diffusors, but I'm getting laid off in a few weeks.. hopefully the economy picks up and I can score another internship and have a steady income flow again.

hmm.. I'm not too sure, maybe another member can chime in on this? I actually didn't order the rear bumper support bracket because I originally did not know that the ASM rear tow hook required it to be used.. my body shop got crafty and cut into my existing support beam and got the tow hook to fit.

Toshi, how did you get your rear fender flares to fit so flush? There are small gaps between my body and fender flare...like between the rivets. I am thinking about applying a heat gone to them to see if I can gently more the fender flare closer to the body. They are the fiberglass ones.

Toshi isn't a member of this forum (unfortunately...) but I haven't heard of anyone having fitment issues with the ASM rear overfender.. my set warped in the sun because I had it sitting in my room for a couple of months, but even so, it fits perfectly fine.

I think that's what happened to mine. Darn it...I will apply a heat gun and see if I can get it to mold a bit closer to the body. The gaps are probably 1/8th of an inch or less but they just bother me.

Most likely it is because your oem rear qtr panel got a little warped from rolling the fenders or cutting it, they're extremely weak and any time you work on them the entire fender changes shape.

JDM rear bumper support beam for those of you that don't know, the JDM OEM beam differs from the regular crash beams we have here in the states.. it also comes with a boxed tow hook mounting point. You will also need this piece in order to utilize the ASM rear tow hook.
The JDM support beam has the same tow hook mounting location as the USDM one. Toshi has some sort of bracket to move it down a little bit.

As you can see the ASM Rear Tow hook also mounts above the vent hole.

Is that a J's exhaust in the first of the two pics above? If so I'll say the J's exhaust looks better with the ASM rear than the ASM exhaust. All these white ASM cars really make me wish I had gotten a white one.

Yes, it's a J's Ti 70RR.

That's why you get the baller CF overfenders like me

...actually...i got a deal on them...and only got them cuz i didn't know FRP version existed at the time

Dang that sucks man! But crazy...you've been balling your car out with income from an internship? Must be a sexy internship

Hope you find another job soon tho.

Honestly, I'd keep the sides the way they are. I've thought numerous times about getting sides (shine, downforce, etc), but I can't help but think that it'll just make the car too busy.

Keep it clean!

Oh...and whore time =D
