Haha! Yeah the floor pan on our car is like tin foil. In fact I had to go back under the car with a block of wood to try to keep everything somewhat flat. I did the same thing at the mounting location for one of the sub straps too.

Yes you are right..

the only solution would be to hack or to switch the harness (and I'm not confortable with neither of the solutions) what did you do?

Additionally I asked directly to DMS (the manufacturers od the Redtops) and thats the answer I got.
