I'm planning to buy a Top Secret authentic hood and wondering how can I tell if it authentic or replica. The seller said the hood doesn't have a Top Secret sticker or anything on the under side. I just want to make sure its authentic before I make the long road trip to pick it up. Any help will be very appreciated.

Top secret doesn't use stamps or serial number plates on their parts to my knowledge. In all honesty, id ask him to take a picture of the recipt and see where it was purchased from.

If you have seen carbon fiber before you will be able to tell based on the quality. Top Secret CF is pretty flawless.

 

The seller said he's selling the hood for his brother and his brother brought it from Ben from Bullet Proof. He even told me to give Ben a call and Ben can vouch for his brother because he's a dealer, the seller's brother that is. The only problem is he gave me his brother first name, which is very common, and don't think Ben can vouch for any person by just the first name. I really don't want to drive 6 hrs. and then find out its not what it was advertised to be.

I can't tell by the pics and the seller said its an authentic one and he said it 1x1 weave. But when he told me there's no Top Secret name on the hood, underside, I just wanted to make sure its authentic before go on the road trip and pick it up.

 

I really don't think there will be any topsecret stamp on the hood

My TS hood has no TS markings. I guess that's what keeps it secret...

 

I dont think the knock off hoods have the vent over the battery either.
