Back Yard Seat Rails not fitting.
I bought a set of back yard seat rails from bulletproof automotive. called bulletproof and told me to post a topic. anyways. the seat rails do not fit. the bottom of the seat contains a hump for the cushion. when sat down, the seat will teater on the hump not allowing the alignment of the holes to square off. also the there is a gap between the top and bottom of the seat. i need to know if this is normal.

Hey onetyme_sam,
I have this rail installed on my 06. Check my sig for the install writeup.
At first thought, I'd say put the seat in the forward most position first before trying to line up the bolt holes. The rails have a slight "rake" to them, meaning that when you slide the seat forward, it is a little higher than when its slid all the way back. once the rear bolts are in, slide it back and install the front bolts.
Now, now not knowing if the 06 and 07 seats are different, maybe the hump is even bigger than the 06.. in that case you might be out of luck, because when I slide my seat all the way back, the seat pan makes contact with the floor, but not enough to limit seat travel.
Let me know what you find. And check my writeup for my pics.
May the force be with you,
Dave

I am having a hellacious time stick this seat back in. I looked at the seat rail more closely and i'm not sure if this is suppose to be like this but 1 bracket for the bolt is kicked to the side. looks like it was welded crooked. i am not sure if its suppose to be like this but i am fighting it and the bolt will not go in. it is the last picture.

I got all but 1 bolt in. The bolt closest to the shiftknob. it seems im about 2 inches away. did you have any problems getting all 4 bolts in?
The crooked tab is normal, I have it on mine. I would try test fitting without the seat installed in the rails and see if it even lines up there, then I would cross check it with passenger side and make sure you have the correct side.
