I really like the new T1R "Sparrow". Yes its a dual exhaust so its not going to give you crazy gains or weight savings but it sounds good, looks good, is a quality piece and is affordable ($850 I believe), and I think those are the biggest factors when looking for a daily driver aftermarket exhaust!

There are different exhuasts for different uses. I've never heard the sparrpw in person so I can't comment on that.

The best all around exhuast I've heard/driven is the J's Racing 60RS. Its not too loud win the lower rpms but it can be loud when you get on it. It has reasonably good powergains, light weight and still keeps the cat and resonator.

The 70RR, I haven't had a chance to hear but my guess is its louder and has mroe gains then its 60RS counterpart but you lose the cat and resonator.

The T1R63mm is pretty loud. Its not too loud but it is pretty loud, their new 70mm is probably even louder. Great power gainst and even better price!

I love the sound of Mugen and Modulo as daily exhuasts. They both have a nice deep low end and their not too loud. Power gains are nothing special nore are the weight gains compared to the Titanium systems. Their greatest drawback I'd say is the high pricetag.

Fujitsubo is a pretty popular exhuast. Good sound, decent gains and decent weight, great price(Ithink its ~800?). There are alot of members on the board with this one.

Supersprint has a very nice tone to their exhuast. I'd say I like it more then the HKS. I'd put both at the top in best sounding catagory.

The amuse R1 is definitely not bling. yes, it's expensive, but this damn exhaust sure has its kicks! I have the Amuse R1 w/o resonator and I felt a big difference in power and faster acceleration.

As far as comparing to prices and performance...T1R is the way to go!

so it seems like many of you like the t1r exhaust. exactly what brand is it?
also, is it's sound bearable for regular daily driving? or is another exhaust more suitable?

The T1R dual "Sparrow" will be perfect for daily driving and isn't loud. It just sounds good. If you want more power and don't mind a somewhat loud exhaust, get the T1R 70mm single.

T1R is the name of AJ-Racing's tuning branch. It stands for Type-One Racing. I think it came from Type-One (Spoon's main company). It however has NO TIES to Spoon.
