I disagree.....the seat should fit your properly....not the car. If comfort and convenience is your goal, then these seats will not be either. For show or street I guess it doesn't really matter but, start getting close to pulling two lateral Gs and you'll quickly want a seat with wings that support your shoulders correctly.
