I've have not seen a dual exhaust make as much power as a single. also tip #1.

if you think about it all you have to do is make the single piping before the Y 70mm(this is the norm on a single exit). you will actually have less restriction with the 2 mufflers instead of 1. now all you have to worry about is the wieght.....

it is not always about less restriction = more power, if that were the case everyone would just be running 3 inch,

its about velocity and airspeed. single 70mm Piping if best for making power......


go back to the drawing board.......

well im from a world of turbo so i guess thats how i think about it. we need a dyno and the different exhausts with all our different set-ups to be sure. i think that my previous mentioned set-up would fair well against a straight as far as power. but i would still go with single because of the wieght difference.

It really depends what you mean by "single performance". 70mm duals like Invidia or the T1R Sparrow 70R make as much power as most 60mm singles, but I haven't seen a dual that can touch a 70mm single yet.
