Default CF questions?!

I'm planning on doing CF fenders, Hood, Trunk, and front bumper. My question is has anyone done this and how was fitment on all this. Im also gonna get the CF hardtop but i'm just wondering about the fitment and any other issues i may run into

there will always be fitment issues no matter what brand or company you buy from. Even if you were to buy 2 hoods from same make and company chances are both will fit differently on your car... but it always comes back to you pay for what u get

You'd prolly get better response by posting what brand these parts are comming from.

How did you get quoted $4000 for all those parts? Something is not right here unless you have a sponsorship- in that case who cares about fitment.
A hardtop in CF alone costs $3000 (SEIBON) and doors are about $5000 (from c-west, ASM). I guess my math is bad.

Heres my review about their parts from when I saw their sponsored CF nissan Z with lamebo doors.
- gaps galore
- horrible fading
- poor structural integrity
- poor weave

yUp thats pretty much it. Other than whats listed above, you have nothing to worry about.

I work at a local import performance store in Spokane so i get some discounts from companies. Extreme Dimensions has a sub company called Carbon Creations. I have heard that their stuff is pretty good. the 4000k was for the hood, trunk, fenders, and front bumper, not the hard top. I know that alone is 3k. I only have seen pics of the fenders and stuff like that on their page, I would be the first in my area to do something like this so thats why i'm asking all the questions about it because i know with fiberglass theres always fitment issues. the hard top is from Mugen though, i also seen a tanoe cover that was made of cf from extreme i wanna get that too. at my store i get cost plus ten percent so i get stuff at really good deals.

Honestly, I wouldnt spend that kinda of money for Carbon Creation parts.

I suggest/recommend staying OEM because you wont save weight with any of the Carbon Creation parts on top of a 2x2 "seibon" style weave that will fade in time and change colors.. Not worth it to me but hey its your money. You also probably wont get points at car shows, if thats what your going for.

So Trivium is correct in stating his quotes..

I have a full CF front (firewall forward)

Cwest CF front fenders $1000
Js Type V hood $1500
Mugen CFRP front bumper $2000

and had a MG 1x1 CF trunk $500

Those 3 parts alone are over $5000. That does not include shipping, painting, etc. Your over $6000 total for that. Then throw in doors and your over $10000.

Now if you go with really bling parts

Cwest 3 vent hood $4300 (your $4000 budget)
ASM front fenders $4000
Mugen front $2000
Amuse CF trunk $4400

Thats $14700 and now throw in the $5500-$8000 Cwest/ASM doors that your close to $22000.

So its up to you but in all honesty I would stay OEM/stock. Its hard to beat already lightweight parts from the factory.

Last but not least..

The Cwest CF front fenders fit great, just like OEM. The Mugen SS front also fits great and the Js Type V hood fits great. All 3 brands fit nicely together..

Of course I painted 2/3 CF parts because I wanted a cleaner look.

I had the Extreme Dimensions kit in my Sol and it fit pretty damn good, here are some pics of my Sol.

For my S2000 I would probablly get the more quality pieces like JsAP1 mentioned above. Good luck, and you do get what you pay for in the long run.
