So I just put a new clutch kit on my motor. As I finished tightening the pressure plate bolts, I noticed the end of the bearing is on a slightly different angle to the end of the alignment tool. It's only ever so slight. I pulled it apart to make sure nothing was wrong but every thing was in its right place. Is this angle allowing for the clutch fork to engage? Or is something wrong here?

 

are you talking about on the throwout bearing? If so, yes, it has a strange angle on the one side for the fork to slide into
