Default Coilover Opinions...

I've been looking at a mid-low price set of coilovers... just looking to get opinions on a few.

1. Tein Flex (leaning toward these)
2. Stance - I don't know anyone who runs these, but from what I hear... great coils.
3. Buddy Club Race Spec
4. Buddy Club N+ (are these any worse than the RS)
5. T1R... I have no idea
6. Bilstein PSS9 (always good reviews... but i'm unsure/indifferent)
7. KSport
8. Apexi N1

Any reason not to go with Flex over the other ones?
Any reason not to go with Stance over the others?

Those have so far been my main two choices... with the BCs close behind.
Looking for suggestions and reasoning. I've searched.

I dont know if you thought about this but one thing you should look at is turn around time... I just picked up some ksport (not installed yet). I was able to get them for really cheap and I am located in arizona. The turn around time on rebuilds is like 1 day for me.. as to something like my old hks hypermax D which would take 2 to 4 weeks..

I am going with flex as well. All of my 240sx friends run them and love them.

While researching suspension I found decent reveiws on both the Tein Flex or the Bilstein PSS9. However, I eventually went with something more for the track. With the Tein setup, you can have the EDFC option. What are you planning to use them for? Track, Strictly Street?

If you are leaning towards the flex get the MONO Flex!

Havent tried it as I'm on the look out for coilovers too but Its a good improvement on the flex spec wise and its still compatible with EDFC i heard.

What ever happened to Tein RA's? I had them on my AP1. Did the Flex replace them?

out of that list, I would say the Bilsteins are the best hands down. I've been doing a lot of research concerning the same factors. One thing I've found, is that hardly any aftermarket coilover kits come with remote resv. in the rear, which our cars have and use stock. Anyone that has driven an AP1 hard knows that the rear will bumpsteer even with the remote resv. I can't imagine how poor they must handle with out them, you'd have to run some pretty stiff damping and spring rates IMO.
