I have been debating getting a new header for my s2000 and i was going to wait and save up for the j's because of all the good things i have heard. I have been finding alot of good deals on comptech headers latley. just wondering if its worth the wait and 2x the price or if i should just pull the trigger on the comptech header. please let me know.

 

Depends what you wanna spend, what power you want, etc.
If I saw a Comptech header for $500, I'd jump on it. But I'm not made of Gold. But I wouldnt pay $800+ for a Comptech.

 

man i am in the same position, i really like the amuse 4-2-1 header tho. anything good about it?

COMPTECH dynos less than stock or about even, it just moves the power more to the top and drops the middle

My understanding is that Comptech is a good choice if you're planning on going FI. Otherwise, the improvement of appearance in the engine bay is the only other benefit.
