wouldnt it be bad ass tho to actually hook lol , seriously tho, what do i need to have a safe launch, lets say 6k? or 7k? i launched my bone stock s2k at 7 and hooked on friday

I'd recommend slipping the clutch either way. Shocking the drivetrain induces quite a bit of wheelspin as well as abuses drivetrain parts.

You gripped up at 7k on street tires?! Bwahaha. I sincerely doubt that. Granted I have an ORC clutch, I can spin like mad at anything above 4500.
