Cusco 4pt bar

Default Cusco 4pt bar

so i'm 5'11"
looking at a 4 pt Cusco roll bar
need to know if this will work considering my height, and that i have stock seats???

you'll have more room to recline if you dont get the harness bar.

I am 5-11 and just put the 5 point non harness bar in my car. You will just have to sit a little more up-right. I lost a inch of recline. you can see the gap between my seats and the stock hoops in these pics.

how is that seating position, is it bearable??

also, how was the install?? should i have this installed by a shop or something, or is it something me and my buddies can tackle together?

Install is easy with some patience. Not advisable for the street. Bar is to close to melon. I had to use a Safety21 bar for a spell until I got my Hard Dog bar(requires considerably more work to install).

the install is time consuming. there are a couple of threads here about install. the hardest part is drilling the hole for the rear legs. you have to leave the top half way up in order to reach back there after the rear tray is taken out. other than that its pretty easy.

At a minimum, one would want to remove the windscreen. Best case scenario is to remove the rollhoops/center console, but that take s abit of work, too.

prob gonna end up picking the bar up tomorrow and taking a shot at the install sometime next week
