Which ems would be best
Sup, i just purchased the Spoon 2.2L stroker kit http://www.aj-racing.com/catalog/product.p...9&cat=91&page=2 and wondering which ems would be best. Options are:
Spoon Sports computer: http://www.aj-racing.com/catalog/product.p...3&cat=91&page=4
The new hondata: http://www.hondata.com/s2000kpro.html
and the AEM ems
If anyone has any other suggestions i'd like to hear. I know the kit says it can be set with standard ecu, but just wondering what y'all would think to be best.

I would go with the AEM EMS.
The Spoon ECU may work, but I would rather have a stand alone. JDM fuel is better (higher octane) than ours and with EMS you could probably tune it to run on 92 octane without any detonation issues

Do you have to meet emmision laws? A Spoon tuned ecu should do pretty good for there 2.2L kit. In the end a well tuned EMS will be the best bet, and if you can go that way and be ok then I would do that. It would give you many more options in the tuning process and enable you to tune on different octane levels.
