Default Engine upgrades

I was hoping an experience tuner could give me some tips on what to purchase for the s2000 engine. I want to keep it N/A for now....

I was thinking probably
headers
pullys

no exhaust upgrade
already have an air intake

I was hoping you could recommend a header and set of pullys as wells as other options i know im overlooking for hp gains that wont break my pocket book.

What would the top 4 headers be?
top 4 pulleys?

top 4 anything else...

Thankyou
Drew

If acceleration is your goal I would recommend that you start with a new final drive gear set.

If you're in a warm climate I think a Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket will actually net you some HP.

A Nice J's Header will free up some ponies also and will def. help if mated to a single (preferably 70mm) exhaust system.

if you want upgrades that won't break your bank, i recommend you ask your question under "under the hood" and not JDM forum. By association JDM means you will shell out more $ then your probably ready to pay.

headers
pullys
we don't have headers, we have a header...
to my knowlege their arn't any after market pulleys for the s2000. i think their was, but not anymore...

best headers are: amuse...j's...mugen

personally get the final drive for a first performance mod, you will notice a difference...

besides that an exhaust is the best bet because you save some major weight...

honestly trust me and go with a good flywheel and clutch pachage first. you will love the feel of the car afterwards. was my first mods, and it improves the car a great deal more then any intake, or exhaust will with no other supporting mods. A good intake can come next because they aren't to pricey(like a aem V2), and combined with the flywheel clutch it feels great. will not ruin your warranty(but having your warrenty ruined really depends on the dealer you go to), and it'll greatly improve the car.

I remember I had to get work done on the car where one dealer said they would not cover it under warrenty for some reason. so i took it to another and they covered it. just find the right place, and they will cover it no matter what mods you do.
