exhaust recommadations
hi all,
i need a little bit of help deciding which exhaust to buy. im looking for the one that would yield most power but racetracks in the uk can have strict noise levels, its 98db on at least 4 good tracks here.
so basically ive been looking at a j's 70rr, j's 60rs, buddyclub spec 3, t1r 70, veilside teardrop and spugen.
like i said i want the best gains possible but cant be overly loud for doing trackdays.
it will eventually be mated up to either a j's racing, comptech, amuse or rmf powerhouse header, something else im not quite sure on.
what are the best for proven gains?
steven

The J' 70RR will be too loud, as well as the Veilside for sure.
If you are talking about the Spugen single, that is pretty loud as well. The T1R is loud...but not as loudas the Veilside of J's IMO.
The J's 60rs however is pretty quiet from what I've heard especially for a single exhaust.

look like your confined to dual's. TIR duals seem to make good power, but with duals, its going to be really hard to make big power. maybe just tune your setup and see where power can be made.

for power gain,, don't go other than a single exhaust,,
i used a t1r 63mm .. it is quiet for a single but today i put on the j's 60rs and it's so quiet that u'll not know it's a single exhaust on an s2000

While we're on the subject of JDM duals ... what about the dual 80mm titanium exhaust that Motorklasse is R&Ding? I think if there's any dual that would make power, it would be this one -- plus two mufflers and a resonator should keep you under 98db

Js 70rr is definitely too loud.
Most powerful = T1R 70r.
Is that too loud? I don't know.
Js 60RS is quiet, as is T1R 63r.
Say NO to DUALS if you want most power.

You think the T1R 70 makes more power than the J's 70RR or Amuse R1000? Just curious as I know you owned the T1R, did you ever dyno it?
get the R1000 for the best sound imo (^_^) ``

If your restricted by sound. I would go with J's its really light and not very loud at all. I have the TODA dual and the J's 60rr is not as loud as my dual exhaust
