Default fastest j's s2000 time attack tsukuba?

I understand that the ASM old tsukuba special car ran high, then low 59 seconds, and that's with the asm/gruppe m intake rather than ITB's. I remember seeing the J's and C-west get close to 1 minute. 1st i'd like to know what they run, 2nd i'd like to know why they are slower than even the old ASM car

If I remember correctly the j's did it in 59, the new asm car did it in 58 to be the fastest na at tsukuba.

Asm has that sequential transmission that j's can't touch.

The car was setup purely for Tsukuba, you cant expect the same setup to work at an entirely different track. Each is different.

I like how J's 2.2L makes more power than Amuse's 2.3L

Are you referrring to the J's Racing Time Attack S2K?

If so, that engine, much less the whole car, is tuned for competition so it probably would make more power.

Its the one in the BMI video, not sure if its the same one that used to have the dragon on the side. J's taps into the stock ecu just like hondata, they been doin it a while too, not that Amuse hasn't. Its only 18hp but pair that with the 4.4 final drive and theres a tremendous difference. If you guys haven't seen the Touge 300 in BMI 21 you need to, awesome battle between amuse and j's.
