vafc. gears. suspensions. i personally think this car is fast enough for what it is. i'd go suspension to get rid of the wheel gap and improve handling. power wise, N/A won't get you that far. go FI

Suggestions for boosting it 20hp? You ruled out an intake, exhaust, and a test pipe. Those are probably the FIRST three things you would do to an NA car to make more power. Setting the vtec at 4,500 will just make more noise and burn more gas. A Spoon throttle body is a great way to make power, but you will want to port match your intake manifold as well. This together will run you about $1000 for about 4hp. As for the other 16hp, I have no idea. As mentioned, no cams have proven themselves on a dyno yet. A Greddy e-manage might get you another 6-8hp, but those are pretty minor gains. To gain 20hp at the wheels on an AP1, you're talking intake, header, test pipe, exhaust, and a well tuned VAFC or e-manage. For that amount of money, you could almost put together a decent turbo setup.

VAFC II and gears if you dont want exhaust or a CAI, and you would drop more than 30lbs with a nice exhuast.

Aftermarket ECU's are just a better, more effective way of doing the same thing a VAFC does. I don't see the sense in spending $1,000 plus on an aftermarket ECU and then retuning that with a VAFC.
