Giff and I leaving Bulletproof
So Giff's last day is today and I will be leaving at the end of the month. We both have our own personal reasons and it has nothing to do with Bulletproof, we are both just moving onto better opportunities. So on behalf of Giff I'd like to say that it has been enjoyable getting to know those of you that we've dealt with in the S2k community and we wish everyone the best of luck with their cars and goals.
Now onto the next part, we are currently looking for someone to replace me. My role at Bulletproof was Sales Manager. I oversaw all aspects of the sales processes as well as marketing opportunities with magazines and other forms of media.
This position is perfect for someone who is looking to work in the industy and be involved with a lot of different Japanese and American companies. Let me tell everyone right now that you have to take the job because you love cars, you will not become a millionaire doing this. Pay is pretty low by my own standards but I just wanted to get into this aspect of the industry.
If anyone would like further information regarding the position, please ask me directly or post up in this thread. Please send all resume related materials to Ben at Ben@bulletproofautomotive.com
Giff and I will still be around and I hope to see some of you at track days in the future. Just look for my J's out yellow itr.

To both of you, it was nice doing business. I'm sure there's something else exciting on the horizon coming.
John, tell Giff (if he doesn't check the boards that is) I appreciate all the trouble he went through with my bank in ordering that Top Secret hood yesterday.
Take care to both of you's guys.

good luck with everything.
I am not exactly qualified to replace you in any way shape or form, but I would be very interested in any creative/identity opportunities the company is looking for.
Bulletproof is very unique in just how vast the connection is between United States in Japan, one of the only places you can contact that will make it a point to find nearly anything you need. I think you guys should promote that more. This is a pretty specific industry, but when it comes down to it, it is very easy to see which companies/ parts shops are in it for the money or for the love of it, Bulletproof has shown their love for what they do by doing it more efficiently than anyone else.
I would be super interested in doing some type of design/illustration/animation work for you guys. I think many people would be very surprised at how much of an effect a really efficient company image can have.
Bulletproof is a major representative for many companies who have all ready made their name in Japan, so the challenge seems to be getting each individual companies image and ideas across to the general public here.
i think there are a lot of things you guys could do to make the company as a whole more recognizable as what it is and what it is doing. Making Bespoke and every part of it stand together as a whole, in terms of its image. But at the same time do it in a way that isn't generic and can really stand out. Give people a better reason to go to the site than just looking at parts. The things that make websites/companies successful in my opinion is the type of content and information/services they can provide for people, so if new content is always coming, people are very excited to use their time to see what is going on.
Content is the key! ^_^ Let people constantly know what you are doing as a company, think of new forms of content that people might be interested in seeing, watching, etc.
The biggest thing I would like to see improved, or even help improve on the companies website is the content available when looking at parts. Part descriptions should be incredibly thorough and complete as possible, really illustrate to the buyer what this part was developed for, how it was developed, and the technical specs of the part. and this should be done thoroughly for each part, in a consistent and very cohesive way. Answer as many questions as possible on the website itself, that is something that could make a shop/website really efficient I think. People don't like to have to search all over the place when they are thinking about making a purchase, it really makes their decision easier if all the info they need is right there for them.
Think of it in this way, "If I was looking on this website and was interested in buying a part, what kind of information and content would make my purchase decision easier to make?"
the answer might differ for different people but I think that is a key issue right now. Make what is going on the websites very consistent, make each part feel like part of a whole, and content, content, content!!! People are always on the search for information so it always makes them happy when their questions answered with little effort on their part.
i would love to share some more ideas and thoughts. And I might have to let my friend Koji know about the opening now that you guys are going on to other things. I don't know if that is exactly what he is looking to do, but it is definitely worth the time I think.
the one thing I really wish Bulletproof would eventually do is move on to actually becoming more of a means for people to get the experience of the car enthusiast culture of Japan, where they are now.
