Good setup?
Hey guys -
I have been doing lots of research and have come to the conclusion the way to go is a single exhaust and AEM V2 Intake.
My question is... With T1R 63 mm single, T1R 63 mm test pipe and AEM V2 Intake, what kind of gains do you think I can expect? Also, what do you think of this set up in general?
In the long run I plan on getting a decent header and then 4.57 gears with reinforced differential.
My goal is pretty simple... consistent 13's in the quarter mile. Thoughts?

i would buy the gears before you buy the other stuff if you want consistent 13's in the 1/4. exhaust and intake arent going to add much power, but the gears will drastically change the way your car accelerates.
I ran consistenet 13s at the track when my car was stock, around 13.8, and some people have run as fast as 13.6s stock in perfect conditions, and that's with an AP1. What are you running right now? If you're running anything over 14.0 stock, you either race in bad conditions or you should practice your technique more.
I haven't seen a lot of times for AP2s so I don't know if you guys are any faster (I would assume so since you've got more torque down low), but assume you're at 14.0 now. With the intake, tp, exhaust combo you'd probably pick up about 15whp, and drop down to about 13.8. With a set of 4.57 gears you'd probably drop to about 13.6, and it would cost you less to do the gears and the reinforced diff housing than it would to buy the intake/test pipe/exhaust combo, I would go that route if you're focusing on performance, best bang for your buck.
BTW all those mods together, I would think you'd be somewhere around 13.4-13.3 in the quarter, with perfect conditions maybe 13 flat. Good luck
