Default Greddy Emanage Ultimate

Does anyone on here have the pretune package that ballisticmotorsports.com sells..done to their car? Have you dynoed the car for gains?

Any help is appreciated.

the pretune, while beneficial, is the lazy way. Buy the unit and have it tuned for your car specifically. it'll be a little more expensive but much better...especially on an ap1. There's a lot of room to work with on our cars.

I've heard they're pretty good. Giles knows his stuff, but an actual dyno tune is ideal.

what is the difference between the Emanage Blue and the Emanage Ultimate????

For an NA application, is there a difference in power gains between the two

yes, the Ultimate is 100 times more user friendly. It allows you to tune the car better.

we need to start a e-manage thread.you know its great that giles tunes the s2000 but for some the price is high and maybe he isnt in your area.i have a local dyno and pay $100 for an hour.problem is i have no idea on how to tune a e-manage ultimate you know why, because giles is the only guy doing it and no one is posting any useful information.tuning a vafc is very simple if you keep in mind where the a/f should be eg.13.1.1-13.7.1.now timing is something totally different.i hope that i get the chance to have giles tune my car but i'd rather learn something about how to tune rather then have someone do it for me.

Giles is a great tuner. I believe the pretune comes from a generic setup he does with many of the ap2's we had one stock ap2 @ 251hp with the emanage. I just bought a BNIB Emanage ultimate off ebay for $365 and its being shipped today. All thats left is the harness

For a stock s2k to be at 251hp I say its the best bang for your buck! Period, regardless if it dynopack (sp.) or mustang dyno. (rated hp at the rear wheel hubs is hp to the wheels) lol too many ppl want to argue the its not valid numbers game...

you are correct, but people argue for good reason. I believe everything you said to be true about different dynos, they are just numbers... BUT what is important is to get a baseline number, and base your horsepower gain over your baseline number.

however dynapacks do read high, no way an s2k is putting down 251whp on a "Standard" dyno.
