^Werd, I'd like to know what parts will get that kind of power N/A. I'm about to start my bottom end N/A build and am debating about what parts to use. I will be staying 2.0 and possibly using Toda pistons with carillo rods and I might try out toda's spec b or c cams for the top end. I'm not looking to have a comfortable idle or ride at all i'm going for pure power and right now hytech just doesn't look cost effective or time effective at that matter. Does anyone know if he released the spec of his cams or are they still secret? I'm working with a very reputable fabrication guy to design a header and I'll post up all the info and results once it's done but I'm not saying anything other than that for now just incase it doesn't come through as I'd wish.
Toda Spec C cams with cam gears and tuning only made 8HP on 100 octane with Toda header and 3" exhaust. We ran them for 1 season in 2006.

I'm pretty sure he put the Spec Cs on a fully built, higher compression motor with a nice flowing head and tuned himself.

They just have too much lift and duration, it becomes unhelpful after a certain point.

You can make the same power with off the shelf parts as has recently been proven by some individuals in Socal on the same dyno.
Can you link me to this?

I this thread. All it seems to do is find a way to make happy people angry.

Well so much for the spec C's then...anyone know if hytech ever released a dyno with before and after of the cams and not of the whole package. Even a before and after of the cam on an engine with the ITBs already installed would help.

bump, I'd like to see this too or at least get a list of the parts that were used.
