Thxs guys, i was stupid. I didnt realize it just fit where the stock strut bar is. I assummed it would be installed like the front, bolted onto the strut.

Would someone tell me the benefits of the Cusco SB over the OEM one? Seems like a useless mod...

when i had the cusco bar, it did help. the only reason why i took it off is because i went with the alex rear strut bar that does go over the coilovers.

anyway, the cusco bar is much stronger and makes the chassis stiffer then the oem rear bar, because the actual bar and end brackets for the cusco rear strut bar are much more beefy and connect to the chassis better, reinforcing that section noticeably more compared to the stock rear brace. The oem rear bar compared to the cusco bar is just not as heavy duty. If you had both bars together you could see what i mean, but basically the cusco rear strut brace helps reinforce that area even better then the stock rear brace.

Just use a long extension from the top no need to remove the filler neck.
I just put in my Tein springs and ran into the same issue.
