Hood fits like a glove and with all due respect, there is no real way to screw up installing that catch can. Wonder what the problem is.

Did the catch can come with all of the hosing? How long was the wait afer ordering?

Removed it and ran the wiring for my Defi gauges through the already exisiting grommet.

The oil catch can traps the white fumes generated from the inside of the valve cover due to high and constant high rpms/temperatures and instead of leading them again to the intake manifold, they are collected to the catch tank. This means a cleaner and better combustion under the above described conditions.
