I just installed my ASM hood ( amazing quality, BTW) and it is hitting the J's intake Does anyone have this combo, and if so, any suggestions on making it fit. I have searched and cannot find anyone who has done this.

nobody has this setup? I would think these are two popular JDM mods. I can cut the hood, but taking a dremel to an original ASM hood seems like blasphemy!

 

If it's touching, I don't see how you can make it fit without cutting the hood. Have you tried raising up the two black hood adjusters? I don't know the part number, but it's the thing on the car where you screw to lower or raise the height of the hood. Worth a shot maybe?

 

Theirs no way it should be hitting.

Adjust your hood latch as suggested above.
