Thumbs up J's oil catch tank

Is anybody familiar with the J's Racing oil catch tank?

I've heard that this tank also has a radiator fluid reservoir and that the OEM fluid reservoir can be removed if this part is installed.

Comments?

I'm sorry...are you saying that you still need the OEM radiator fluid reservoir?

Do you have any pics of the J's tank in your engine bay?

Whoops sorry You have to remove the factory reservoir. half the tank is for radiator overflow the other 1/2 is for blowby.

Doesn't it also interfere with the cruise control module? Can the module easily be relocated? I love the look of the catch can, but I won't sacrifice cruise for an essentially useless bit of metal under the hood.

I don't understand why it would conflict with the c/c module...at least on my MY06.

Great! This is the clarification I was looking for. I want to remove the OEM reservoir anyways but it is FUGLY.

I thought MY06s don't even come with a CC module since it's DBW.

J's catch requires relocation/removal of CC module and replaces the factory coolant overflow tank.

The module can be easily be relocated...you just have to find a place to mount the box that the cables will reach. I just removed mine all together.

I don't know for sure. Maybe it was eliminated because the of DBW and the fact that the ECU can now control it.

Yeah, DMW cars don't need a cruise module. It's odd hitting boost in my friend's STi while on cruise control (since it is normally run off of vacuum).
